Wakatere's WAKA ADVENTURE is designed for teens/youth aged 12-17yrs to learn to sail, build skills, and explore different types of sailing. Youth LTS is a beginner course and the first step in the programme. 

This Youth LTS course is sailed in our club 2-person RS Feva dinghies which are fast and lots of fun. Sailors will learn the fundamentals of sailing, how to control the boat from helm & crew positions. and enjoy the social aspect of working as a team. Our coaches will help you learn the tricks of the trade and ride the waves like a pro in no time.

• TIME: 1-4pm each day

• COST: $400 (incl LTS Invitational membership) 

• BOATS: RS Feva dinghies provided  

• COACHES: Qualified instructors 

• COURSE: YNZ Certified Level 1 

As a family club with opportunities to learn to sail at all ages, we encourage the 12-17 group to try something new.
