Wakatere needs your help to fill both on-water and off-water volunteer roles for the 2022 Optimist & Starling Auckland Champs & Auckland Anniversary Day Regatta 5-7 Feb.

While the on-water roles provide the best views of the racing action, there are a wide range of opportunities to show your support - and no experience is required for some of them. Our committee will find something suitable. 

If you have a sailor participating, you help is expected - members and visitors alike. If you sail another class and have your own class regatta coming up in a few months, this is great time to volunteer.

On the water roles remaining: Opti Green & Starling Dev fleets only 

Shore based roles :

• Beach trolley help, launching & retrieving
• Kitchen help, serving kids food after sailing - all days
• Bar assistance & some restocking - all days
• Water station filler - all 3 days 
• Refuse manager - all 3 days
