ABOUT THE COURSE 

This course is ESSENTIAL for those who wish to skipper Wakatere patrol boats. You will learn how to control a small RIB, carry out rescues safely, and be a capable support boat skipper. Places are limited to 9 club members or parents of junior club member and it will be run by a qualified instructor, Phil Bishop, from the Auckland Sailing School. It will include both theory and practical instruction.

It is FREE to Wakatere club members but if required, an official CBES Club Safety Boat Operator Certification will cost (approx $30) and can be organised with the Auckland Sailing School.
