COURSE DATE 13th Nov POSTPONED
Announcing a date for our first Patrol Boat Safety Course this season - Sat Nov 13th. No previous experience required.
This course is ESSENTIAL for those who wish to skipper Wakatere patrol boats. You will learn how to control a small RIB, carry out rescues safely, and be a capable support boat skipper. Places are limited to 9 club members or parents of junior club member and it will be run by a qualified instructor, Phil Bishop, from the Auckland Sailing School. It will include both theory and practical instruction.
It is FREE to Wakatere club members but an official CBES Club Safety Boat Operator Certification will cost each member (approx $30) and can be organised with the instructor on the day.

Requirements:
You will need warm clothing or wetsuits and footwear suitable for boating, towel, a change of clothing, and your own lunch. Bring your personal buoyancy vest if you have one. Otherwise a club one will be provided.
