We value all helping hands at Wakatere Boating Club to make our events top-notch and safe. If you're keen to dive into the action, you'll be backed up by our sailing committee, race officers, and skilled sailing class reps who will guide you every step of the way.

We are aware that many individuals in our local community have sailing expertise or experience on the water - if you are looking to get back to it, we enthusiastically encourage you to volunteer for our Sunday duty roster or occasional regattas. You don't always need to be a member to volunteer. 

Each season we run training programs for members to drive club patrol boats (learning to rescue people and boats on the water safely) and first aid courses with a focus on our marine environment. We could use an extra hand around the clubhouse, especially with sprucing up our building and tinkering with boat engines!
