DATES: 10th Dec - 13th Dec 2018
TIME: 9am- 3pm each day
TOTAL COST: $430 - this amount includes junior membership for the season 2018/19. .
The course is led by a Yachting New Zealand qualified Learn to Sail instructor and follows the Yachting New Zealand Learn to Sail curriculum. It is run by the club to allow teenagers to learn to sail, in the hope that they will enjoy the course and then join the Wakatere Youth Feva coaching program.
Sailors must be aged 12 years at the time of the course and must be able to swim 50 metres unaided wearing a PFD (personal floating device) and sailing gear. Sailors will need their own buoyancy aid, wetsuit or warm sailing gear.
